About Emily
Hey Y'all! My name is Emily Parker, and I'm from the Northeast area of Texas. I earned my Master's degree in Communication Studies from Ball State University in 2021, and I've been happily rooted here ever since! I fell in love with Ball State and its vibrant community, and I'm confident you will too.
My academic passion lies in teaching and creating engaging learning environments, which led me to my current role as Assistant Director of Orientation and Admissions. I'm enthusiastic about sharing all the great things Ball State has to offer.
I understand the challenges of a long-distance college experience firsthand, but I couldn't imagine my college journey any other way. It allowed me to forge new friendships, expand my professional network, and even contribute to starting a campus organization!
When choosing a college, my advice is to select one that supports your success and offers ample opportunities for personal and professional growth. I sincerely hope that Ball State University can be that place for YOU!
