About Sara
Hi! My name is Sara Barker. Originally, I'm from Westfield, Indiana. I have two degrees from Ball State: I earned my bachelor's in journalism with a concentration in news in 2019 and my master's in adult and community education in 2024. When I was in high school, Ball State was the only school I wanted to attend because every person on campus -- students, professors, administrators and staff -- is a colleague and treats each other with respect. My favorite place on campus is the Ball Honors House!
A fun fact about me is that I love birding, and my favorite bird is the cedar waxwing.
