Group Visits

    Our group visit experience begins at Ball State’s Welcome Center in Lucina Hall, home of the Office of Admissions. Groups will check-in at the Welcome Center and attend a 30 minute presentation on the experience for students on campus. After the presentation, groups will take a student-guided walking tour of campus. The tour will last roughly an hour and a half showcasing Ball State’s vibrant campus and the resources available for students. 

    Below is important information for those wishing to schedule a group visit: 

    • High School Group Tours: 9:30 AM, Check-In at 9:15 AM 
    • School Name/Organization Name 
    • Maximum capacity of 50 guests per group
    • One chaperone per 10 guests (No exceptions) 
    • 48 hour confirmation that group will attend on registered day and time
      • Roster of students must be included (High School Group Tours Only) 

    If you are interested in an available date for a group tour, please contact Kristy Fix via email at in order to register for a group visit. Registration for group visits will be based on a first come, first served basis. We also invite groups to schedule field trips that include various educational engagement opportunities across campus. 

    Note: At this time our group visits are reserved for high school students only. However, we would still love for middle school students to experience Ball State University. Our Office of Community Engagement works with elementary and middle school groups on scheduling visits to Ball State. If you would like to learn more about what they offer, click here!
