Coronavirus Update: As of March 14, 2020, Ball State will no longer be offering Group Visits due to Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) through December 2020. Ball State is aware of the impact that the Coronavirus has and, in alignment with the guidelines from the CDC, will continue to monitor the situation. Learn more about Ball State's response to COVID-19.

The Office of Admissions will work with you to reschedule a visit to our campus, communicate over email/phone or do what works best for you to offer the best experience possible. You can reschedule a campus visit here or call 800-482-4BSU (4278).

The Office of Admissions offers a virtual tour for all potential visitors showcasing Ball State's campus. The Office of Housing and Residence Life offers a great video option that allows prospective students to see what our residence halls have to offer.

    Purpose of Group Visits

    1. Group Visits are available as an informative and interactive opportunity for high school (9th - 12th grade) students to gain exposure to higher education through Ball State University.
    2. Group Visits consist of a walking tour of our vibrant campus followed by an information session where students will gain insight on ways to advance their educational experiences via social and academic opportunities available at Ball State.

Guidelines for Registering for Group Visits

    • Please register for Group Visits approximately two (2) weeks in advance to allow us sufficient planning time to prepare for your visit.

    • Group Visits are not available during holidays or final exam periods.
