Ball State University - Group Visits

    Purpose of Group Visits

    1. Group Visits are available as an informative and interactive opportunity for junior high and high school (7th - 12th grade) students to gain exposure to higher education through Ball State University.
    2. Group Visits consist of a walking tour of our vibrant campus followed by an information session where students will gain insight on ways to advance their educational experiences via social and academic opportunities available at Ball State.

    Guidelines for Registering for Group Visits

    • Please register for Group Visits approximately two (2) weeks in advance to allow us sufficient planning time to prepare for your visit.
    • Group Visits are designed for school groups and community-based organizations of 10 students or more.
    • Maximum tour size is 50
    • Group Visits are not available during holidays or final exam periods.
    • Provide at least one chaperone for every 10 students. Chaperones are expected to remain with students throughout the visit.
    • The Office of Admissions will not provide lunch for the group. If you plan to eat lunch on campus, all locations accept cash or credit, groups may also pack lunch and eat on campus. 

    Group visits take place daily at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern) ending at 12:00 p.m.  If your group is more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, your visit itinerary will be adjusted.
