Earn a Master's Degree in Sociology!

    * Sociologists with at least a Master's degree earn, on average, more than $80,000 per year
    * Demand for Sociologists is expected to grow over the next 10 years at a rate faster than the average for all occupations
    * Sociologists with Master's degrees can work as research analysts, social advocates, counselors, academic advisors, college professors, program directors, grant writers, and so much more
    * Sociologists with Master's degrees work in various job sectors, including higher education, the government, private industry, and non-profit organizations

There are two options for earning a Master's Degree in Sociology at BSU:

    1) The TMP (Traditional Master's Program) option is available for students who would like to enroll in a graduate program after they complete their BA. The TMP typically takes two years to complete.
    2) The AMP (Accelerated Master's Program) option is available for Ball State students who want to start work on a graduate degree while they are still working on their BA. The AMP allows students to complete both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in 5 years.

Come to an AMP or TMP Information Session to learn more—and get some cool Sociology freebies in the process!

Sessions will take place in North Quad 241 and during the session, we will discuss program requirements, job prospects, and salary potential.
