Disability Services
Ball State University is committed to providing equal opportunities in higher education to academically qualified students with disabilities. Students with disabilities at Ball State have access to tools and resources that will enable them to manage day-to-day university life through our office of Disability Services.
Counseling Center
The Counseling Center provides services in a safe space for current students to work through emotional and mental health concerns with trained professionals through therapy groups, workshops, self-help, outreach, and other resources and services to meet your needs.
Basic Needs Hub
The Basic Needs Hub is a virtual center for resources available to students experiencing basic needs insecurity. It provides information and individuated support to all students related to Food Security, Housing Support, Financial or Wellness Resources, as well as Unaccompanied Homeless and Foster Youth.
Student Success Coaching
University College offers free professional Student Success Coaching to help students gain insight into themselves as they pursue success academically and personally. Coaches partner with students to develop the necessary tools to create a thriving experience at Ball State and beyond.

With eight locations across campus and 30 different eateries including four national brands, there is something to suit everyone’s taste and needs on Ball State University’s campus! We even have a nutritionist and do all we can to meet your dietary needs.
Financial Services and Support
Cardinal Central is Ball State’s integrated, student-focused service center (for domestic students). This convenient one-stop location is designed to help students and families with scholarships, financial aid, billing, and financial resources.
Cardinal Central also offers one-on-one virtual appointments for questions about the FAFSA or what to expect financially from attending Ball State.

This event promises entertainment, games, food, and fun to celebrate the conclusion of the first week of classes in the fall semester.

Dance Marathon is Ball State's largest student-run philanthropy. Each February, BSUDM brings the Ball State community together to fundraise and raise awareness for children and families of Riley Children's Hospital.

Ball State's most popular Homecoming event, Air Jam, features student organizations competing in an epic lip sync battle for glory and notoriety.

Bed Race is an annual Homecoming tradition where student groups compete racing beds down Riverside Avenue on campus.

Ball State is home to more than 30 fraternities and sororities governed by one of three councils that work closely with the Office of Student Life.

Sport your Cardinal and White as you cheer on the Division I Cardinals at Ball State Athletics events. Fun fact: all home games are FREE for students to attend!

Writing Center
The Writing Center is where students turn for writing support. This free resource offers feedback and resources related to class work, research, presentations, and workshops for students based on their individual needs.
Learning Center
The Learning Center offers online and in-person appointment-based free tutoring for nearly every subject on-campus as well as supplemental instruction, workshops, and testing accommodations. As a first-year student, you’ll even have access to student success coaching!
University Libraries
Bracken Library is the perfect place for study, research, collections, workshops, computer labs, and personalized support to assist you in and out of the classroom.
Technology Support
Through a wide range of services, Information Technology will help you find the answers to your questions and provide expertise for technology-related issues and purchases.
